Cello Ristorante & Bar, located at Ayres’ beautiful Allegretto Vineyard Resort in Paso Robles, has selected to send all proceeds made during their Charity of the Month event in March to RISE SLO.

RISE SLO is a nonprofit organization that serves both victims of intimate partner violence and the sexual assault of their loved ones. The organization was formed from two nonprofits in San Luis Obispo County: The North County Women’s Shelter & Resource Center and the Sexual Assault Recovery & Prevention Center of SLO County. The merging of these nonprofits has given rise to immense change within and beyond their local community. They have established comprehensive programs, services, and resources directed at benefiting people affected by these crimes.

RISE is an acronym for “Respect. Inspire. Support. Empower.” which embodies the organization’s mission. RISE believes that it is a basic human right to live free of sexual violence; therefore, they try to promote this message through public advocacy and ongoing educational programs. The ultimate goal is to “transform the lives of sexual and intimate partner violence survivors, their families, and the community through services and education that promote safety, healing and empowerment.”

Cello Ristorante & Bar fully recognizes the importance of this organization’s work and wants to contribute to their success. Therefore, throughout the month of March, Cello will be donating $2 to RISE for each Classic Charity Cocktail sold. In addition, Cello will be hosting a main charity event in an effort to raise more funds. During this event, $4 from each sale of House Margaritas, Sangria, Mexican Beer, and Mexican Mules will be allocated towards helping this nonprofit achieve its mission.

Please join us as we endeavor to improve the conditions of sexual assault victims and prevent this tragic occurrence from transpiring in the future. Cello Ristorante & Bar is open for lunch from 12pm-2pm and serves dinner from 6pm-8:30pm. We encourage you to come in and make a purchase that will positively impact RISE’s ability to carry out their work.
